Many of us understand that all is energy, and that our thoughts, beliefs and emotions affect not only the condition of our bodies, but how we experience our reality. We know that what we focus on expands. When we think about what we want to create in our lives, we often feel that certain things are simply impossible, due to old, outdated ideas that reflect a belief in limitation, that life is a struggle. Quite obviously, this will not help us to create what we want! We also tend to compare ourselves to others who seem more successful at creating their reality, leading to feelings of inadequacy--that we are not good enough, talented enough, focused enough, etc. etc. etc., to have what we want. Before we know it, we have immersed ourselves in impossibility and the future seems bleak indeed. The fact is that we are all creating our reality, all the time--what we attract into our lives on a daily basis is a reflection of our strongest beliefs. And so we must identify whether we like what we're creating or whether we do not. If we don't, then we need to look at what our strongest beliefs are and change them. Below is an exercise that will assist you in transforming those negative beliefs into new statements of reality. Print this page out as many times as you need to, one page for each belief you want to change. Have fun with it! When you're done, spend some time reading over your new reality statements. Allow yourself to imagine, to visualize and, very importantly, to FEEL THE JOY OF ACTUALLY LIVING THAT NEW REALITY. Why? Thought and belief define the new reality, but joyful emotion activates the creative process and magnetizes the new reality. Put these completed exercise sheets away for awhile, say six months or so. Then take them out and look at them again. Don't be surprised to see that you're living the reality you wrote about! Share this exercise with a friend! They'll be happy you did! |
